Cyprians A Forbin - Online Memorial Website

Cyprians Asonganyi Forbin (aka CY) was born in Mamfe, Cameroon to Peter Atemnkeng Forbin (RIP) and Susana Tengungwoh Forbin (RIP). He completed primary education in Mamfe before travelling to Nigeria for secondary education. He attended Modebe Memorial Grammar School in Onitsha, Nigeria for a few years before the uprising in Nigeria brought him back home to Cameroon.

He tried his hands in marketing and landed a job as the salesperson for the Only Encyclopedia Botanical Distributor in the South West region of Cameroon with its main office in Buea. He then moved from Mamfe to Kumba and later to Buea where he could communicate and commute easily with the majority of his clients. His job performance did not go unnoticed.

Just after a few years he accepted a position as a salesperson for Volvo Automobile with Neba Automotive Company with its headquarters in Yaounde. He then moved to Yaounde and commuted weekly to Mutengene where most of their vehicles were kept. He served at that position for several years before travelling to the United States in search for greener pastures.

He attended the State University of New York at Brockport, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business and Economics. He worked for a few companies after graduation before going to work for FedEx in Bufallo, New York. At the time of his untimely demise he has risen to Sr. ECO Import Agent for FedEx.

CY became sick sometime in 2011 and all attempts by the Cancer Treatment Center of America (CTCA) to save hime went in vain and finally answered the call from The ALMIGHTY GOD at 4:55 am on thursday, April 16 2015.

He was very trusted and loyal not only to his family but also to coworkers, friends and all who knew him. He took a leave of absence from his job to battle his illness when it became unbearable because he clearly loved his job at FedEx and didn't want to burden his coworkers with extra workload created by his prolong absence. He was very good to his care givers at CTCA and they were good to CY. Their care and support during his regular checkups and especially during his last days was remarkable. His loyalty became more evident when he changed his last name to Atemnkeng so as to keep alive our late father's memories. 

CY was a catholic christian.  
He leaves behind a host of family members and friends to mourn him.
Cyprian will join his parents and sister who travelled to beyond several years back.
